Ardsley-Secor Volunteer Ambulance Corps

Medical insignia At ASVAC's annual business meeting on June 8, 2009, new officers were elected.
Charles Strick - Captain
Frank Doherty - First Lieutenant
Jerry Bedingfield - Second Lieutenant

The Ardsley Secor Volunteer Ambulance Corps is located at 19 American Legion Drive and can be reached at 693-3673 for non-emergency purposes. Of course, for emergencies, always call 911.

Formed in 1960 by volunteers, the Ardsley-Secor Volunteer Ambulance Corps, Inc. services the village of Ardsley and the Ardsley School District, excluding Dobbs Ferry. It is not affiliated with the Village of Ardsley or the Ardsley Fire Department and operates on donations from the people in its coverage areas. The ambulance is New York State Certified, which means an Emergency Medical Technician will always be on board and certain levels of operations will be maintained.

Since the Corps is made up of volunteers, it is always looking for new members. Members will train anyone interested and only require a new recruit to have CPR, Standard First Aid, and a desire to help others.

Please call (914) 693-3673 if you want to be a volunteer. Visit us at www.asvac.org.

To report an incident that is routine in nature, please use the main number (914) 693-1700. For emergencies (fire, police, ambulance), just dial 911. It is important that you use 911 ONLY in an emergency. To insure a prompt response by the Police, Fire, or Ambulance units, please see to it that your house number is conspicuously posted.
