THE ARDSLEY CABLE TELEVISION COMMITTEE

The Ardsley Village Board Meetings are broadcast live at 8:00 pm the first and third Mondays of the month September through June, and the first Monday in July and August, on Cablevision channel 75. The meetings are subject to the Village holiday schedule found elsewhere in this website. During the live broadcasts, residents may call in during the Visitor section on 693-6517. Channel 75 is also home to the electronic bulletin board also known as the EBB. This is the location to advertise government and nonprofit community-based activities. To send a notice of your activity, please email the Village Manager at managercalvi@ardsleyvillage.com.

Rebroadcasts of the meetings are shown on Wednesdays at 3:00 pm and 8:00 pm and Sundays at 11:00 am and 6:00 pm.

In the near future, the meetings will also be broadcast live for Verizon FIOS subscribers as well, on a yet to be determined channel.

CATV WANTS YOU

The Cable Television committee has a very small, dedicated core of volunteers who faithfully broadcast our meetings month in and month out at Village Hall. However, they cannot be here for every meeting, and the need is strong for others to replace them from time to time. Amongst other duties, volunteers are needed to man the television cameras, work in the CATV studio, respond to the telephone calls during the meetings, and to ensure the meetings are rebroadcast eight times between such meetings. Volunteers are also needed periodically to update the electronic bulletin board on Channel 75. For almost three decades our CATV volunteers have broadcast these meetings, whom without, these broadcasts would cease to exist, and could cease to exist, if no one steps forward to eventually succeed them. That would be a shame in a community chock full of so many television and communications professionals. If you are interested in volunteering please contact CATV Chairman Robert Wootten.
