Westchester Power is an electricity purchasing program for the municipalities in Westchester Couty, which has provided competitive and stable fixed-rates for over 100,000 residents and small businesses while increasing renewable energy.
Currently there are 21 municipalities participating in the Program, and as of January 2018, it is estimaed that Westchester Power has:
- Saved $9 million across all participating customers;
- Served 1 billion kilowatt hours; and
- Avoided 216,000 metric tons of carbon dioxide emissions.
Ardsley will be joining its neighbors in the Westchester Power Program and will be holding information sessions for residents to learn more about the Program. Please consider attending any of the following sessions:
- April 25, 2018 - Public Information Session at the Ardsley Public Library, 4:00pm - 5:30pm
- May 1, 2018 - Tabling at Village Hall, 4:00 - 5:30pm
- May 7, 2018 - Presentation at the Village Board Meeting, 8:00p,m

PUBLIC HEARINGS
REGARDNG MARCH 2018 WINTER STORMS
The New York State Public Service Commission is sponsoring a series of public statement hearings regarding the March 2018 winter storms and resulting power outages. The Commission has initiated an investigation of the storm preparation and response by the state's major electric utilities.
To ensure full public participation, the Commission will hold the public statement hearings to solicit input and comments from your community concerning the utilities' performance regarding the storm events. The hearings are open to members of the public who wish to participate and comment. Information received at the public statement hearings will be transcribed and will be included in the record. The public comments will be considered by the Commission in deciding this matter. For more information, please click here.

We are excited and overwhelmed by the response to the invitation to Ardsley Village residents to participate in the new Village planning process. The first meeting was only the beginning. Whether or not you attended the first meeting, you can now find information on how you can stay involved in our planning efforts on the homepage of the Village website (www.ardsleyvillage.com). Click on "New Village Planning Process" on the left side of the homepage under "Community Links." That will take you to two sureys so you can weigh in on what's important. You will also find the consultant's statement explaining the planning process. We look forward to your joining us as we move forward in creating a vision for the future of our Village.
