Community Stewardship Walk-through
Saturday November 14th ~ 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM

Saw Mill River Coalition/Groundwork HV invites you to visit community-led stewardship sites along the Saw Mill River. Village of Ardsley volunteers have joined with other Rivertown volunteers in creating the new Chauncey Park.  It is on the site of the old Village of Chauncey. Stewardship efforts are focusing on cleanups, floodplain restoration, restoring the main carriage path, and working to improve access to the site from the adjacent neighborhoods, including Ardsley.

The Walk-through will begin at the Chauncey Park site in Dobbs Ferry, then will connect to the South County Trail and follow it south to different sites in the Town of Greenburgh and the Village of Hastings-on-Hudson.  Meet at the entrance to the Chauncey Park site, which is at the corner of Danforth Ave and Stanley Ave (near 98 Stanley Ave) at the northeast corner of Rivertowns Square.  Parking is available on Stanley Avenue.

All safety protocols will be followed. Masks will be required. Please maintain a distance of at least six feet when near others not from your household. Do not attend if you are sick, or if you have had contact with someone who is sick.
