The Rec Department has been adding new programs to the calendar every year. We have been working with the Ardsley School District to run programs with the students. Upcoming events are listed below. If you have any suggestions & ideas, please call (914) 693-8012 or

Easter Egg Hunt Under-the-Lights! : At McDowell Park Field #1!
Saturday April 1st from 7 to 8 PM. Sponsored by Ardsley Police Dept and Ardsley Parks & Rec

Village of Ardsley 5K Race!: Sunday May 7th - Start & finish at Concord Road Elementary School. Check in at 9AM, Race runs 10AM to 12PM. Fee is $25.

Food Truck Friday! : Good music, Slime Mobile, Bouncy House, Gaga Ball, and - Food Trucks & Dessert Truck! Friday May 12th from 5 to 9 PM at Pascone Park.
Ice Cream Social : Come wrap up the school year with a bowl of ice cream! Thursday June 22nd from 6 to 8 PM at Pascone Park.

NEW SESSION!!! Adult Zumba: Zumba combines high energy and motivating music with fun moves and combinations that allow Zumba participants to dance away their worries.
Zumba is a "feel happy" workout that is great for body and mind!

Safety 1st Defensive Driving: Sharpen your driving skills, lower insurance premiums & reduce violation points. Taught by Mary Ann DeToma, American Safety Inc. Classes May 24th & May 25th at the Community Center from 6 to 9 PM. You must attend both sessions to receive credit ! Be on time, bring a pen AND your driver's license. Fee is $25
A fun way to keep kids active during their day off from school!
A1 Athletics Program packed with exciting activities and field games, including GaGa.
Please pack your child a snack/lunch/drinks as breaks will be provided.

After School Chess: Our popular Chess Program with Furqan Tanwir (aka Mr. Kan), World Chess Master ranked amongst the top 1% of competitive chess players in the world. Classes are at the Ardsley Community Center. Maximum = 20 per class
Come and join other chess players and enjoy play, lessons and team problem solving.

SPRING Lego Robotics and Engineering: Program for grades 2 to 4. Think it, build it, make it move! Students will explore and apply fundamental robotics and physical computing using motors, batteries and circuits. Students will get to build and take home their robotic projects.

SPRING Coding & Video Game Design: Program for grades 2 to 4. Students will learn the fundamentals of video game design and digital world building.

Grit Ninja Spring Break Camp: One week camp during Spring Break!
At Pascone Park Gazebo Field from 9AM to 12PM.

NEW!!! Youth Basketball Developmental Program: A new program for to 3rd - 5th grade girls and boys.
Program is held at Pascone Park Basketball Court from 5:15 to 6:15 PM on Wednesdays.

Pee Wee Soccer: New York City Football Club (NYCFC) is excited to bring
age-appropriate early childhood soccer to Ardsley.
All players will be instructed by NYCFC Youth Program Coaches in a fun-filled environment
tailored to players 3 to 5 years of age.
Staff uses an educational approach that covers soccer fundamentals, balance & coordination and social skills.
Sundays from 12:15 to 1:15 PM at Pascone Park Gazebo Field (maximum = 12 children)
All players will be instructed by NYCFC Youth Program Coaches in a fun-filled environment
tailored to players 3 to 5 years of age.

Spring Tennis Clinic: Learn to play tennis at Pascone Park with Ayo Obi! Tennis clinics will be held on Saturdays and Sundays for 6 weeks. Starts Saturday April 22 and Sunday April 23 (no class May 27 & 28). Classes are divided into age groups: ages 5-7 (9 to 10 AM), 8-10 (10 to 11 AM), and 11-teens (11 AM to 12 PM); Adult Beginners (12 to 1 PM) and Adult Intermediate/Advanced (1 to 2 PM). Each class size maximum = 8 participants.
Fee is $180 for Ardsley Resident, $230 for Non-Village.

Fun, drop-in program for men and women age 40 & over on Thursday nights,
from 7 to 9 PM at the Ardsley High School Small Gym, starting Dec 1st.
