The Village Treasurer is appointed by the Mayor and Board of Trustees to serve as the Chief Fiscal Officer for the Village. She is responsible for maintaining all financial accounts as well as the preparation of the annual update document as required by New York State and oversees the annual audit process. She acts as financial steward to insure the ethical and responsible safekeeping of village assets and integrity of the financial information required for effective decision making by Village officials on all financial matters.
Leslie Tillotson was appointed Village Treasurer, effective on May 7, 2018. The Treasurer’s office is responsible for the accurate reporting of the village’s finances. The office works closely with our banking institutions and is responsible for processing our accounts payables and accounts receivables. In addition, the Treasurer’s office handles all Human Resource matters, including payroll, retirement systems, health systems and other personnel issues.
