Attention Plumbers, Electricians, HVAC Contractors & Fire Sprinkler Contractors

Effective immediately, the building department will no longer accept applications that are not accompanied by the following:

• A check or money order payable to the Village of Ardsley to cover the permit fee.
• A copy of your Westchester County License
• Insurance certificates for worker’s compensation, disability and liability insurance (3 separate forms and/or waivers). All certificates must show the Village of Ardsley as certificate holder. You must still provide insurance certificates even if you filed an application recently.
• For electrical permits, the inspection agency application must also be provided.
• You may drop off or mail in your completed application or you may have a staff member drop it off for you.

Please be advised that the office personnel you see behind the counter do not work for the building department and they cannot assist you or answer your questions.

Incomplete applications will not be reviewed, and the building department will not contact you to request any required information. Emails to the building department containing insurance certificates and/or licenses will be deleted.
