STEMsational Summer Fun
STEM science classes for ages 8 -12 years. Wednesdays at 3pm
Come to one class or all. Registration required.
Aug. 17 - Strawberry DNA Extraction: Students mash strawberries to release DNA and use simple chemistry.
Aug. 24 - Turn Milk into Plastic: Students create casein plastic using food ingredients and mold it into a useable shape.
Aug. 31 - Gyotaku: Students learn Japanese fisherman’s technique of recording the size of their catch using ink and paper.
