The Mighty Oak

Join the Ardsley Public Library and the Ardsley Pollinator Pathway for this hands-on kid’s workshop. The oak is our mightiest tree, a symbol of strength across cultures, and the most important plant for wildlife. In this hands-on activity kids will learn about the oak, ways to identify it, why it is so important, and how to grow it. Kids will plant their own acorns in a pot to sprout in spring and be planted in their yards this year or next. For kids 5 years and up, kids under 5 years must have an adult accompany them.
