Charlene comes to the role of Interim Village Manager with approximately 32 years of State, City, Town and Village experience as Manager, Administrator, Commissioner and Counsel. Just prior to her retirement approximately one year ago, Charlene served as the Village Administrator for the Village of Dobbs Ferry for four years. She has also served as President and Executive Director of the Roosevelt Island Operating Corporation, Commissioner of Planning and Community Development for the City of Mount Vernon, Westchester County Attorney, Town Counsel for the Town of Mamaroneck, and City Manager for the City of New Rochelle. Charlene has also previously been in private practice as an attorney.
In addition to her professional experience, Charlene currently serves on the Westchester County Parks, Recreation and Conservation Board and the Town of Lewisboro Planning Board and Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee.
Charlene received her Bachelor of Arts from St. John’s University and her Juris Doctor from Pace University School of Law.
Charlene will be serving as Interim until a new Village Manager is selected by the Board of Trustees. A consultant has been retained to assist the Board through this process.
